A tall tumbler in pale blue, mouth-blown at La Soufflerie in Paris from recycled glass. The surface is worked with a twisted rib that spirals up the body, a detail borrowed from Venetian Baroque glassmaking, where the technique catches and bends the light as you turn it. Slender and a little ornate, these pieces carry the small variations that come from being made by hand. Part everyday tumbler, part small treasure.

Design Cue: Set a few out for water, mix in with your other glassware for a little color without overpowering the design.

Handmade: Made by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Small variations in size, color, and finish aren't flaws but rather the natural character that makes each object unique and special.
