Hand-turned solid charcoal ash with hand-stained natural leather straps, and built in the Fernweh Woodworking studio in Bend, Oregon, one of a handful of silhouettes ANDREA GOLDMAN designed with the studio whose craftsmanship the firm has long admired. The straps are the detailed engine of the design, holding the seat with a tension that reads as lightness, which is how a bench this solid manages to look this lean.
