Hand-formed by Vietnamese potters from natural clay, then fired until the surface darkens to a deep, smoky charcoal. Unglazed and matte, it is meant for looking rather than holding water. Small in scale but dark enough to anchor whatever sits around it.

Design Cue: Set against something pale—a linen runner, a limewashed wall—so the char finish brings contrast to a vignette.

Handmade: Made by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Small variations in size, color, and finish aren't flaws but rather the natural character that makes each object unique and special.
